E-40 の紹介で 2Pac とも組み、モーズリーとの「Ain't Hard 2 Find」と「Tradin' War Stories」が『All Eyez on Me』に入った。

Rick Rock got his chance to play beats for E-40 because the Vallejo producer Mike Mosley was running late to the studio. “Record Haters”, the opening track on E-40’s album “Tha Hall of Game”, is his. E-40 went on to introduce him to 2Pac, and two tracks he made with Mosley, “Ain’t Hard 2 Find” and “Tradin’ War Stories”, landed on “All Eyez on Me”. E-40 raps on “Ain’t Hard 2 Find” too.

ネイト・ドッグを迎えた、ブルックリンのファボラスの「Can't Deny It」は、サビの言葉が 2Pac「Ambitionz az a Ridah」に似ている。

Jay-Z meant “Change the Game”, from 2000, to introduce Beanie Sigel and Memphis Bleek, and Rick Rock made the beat. After that, the work from New York kept coming. “Can’t Deny It”, the debut single by Brooklyn’s Fabolous with Nate Dogg, has a hook whose words echo 2Pac’s “Ambitionz az a Ridah”. Rick Rock also produced Busta Rhymes’ “Make It Clap” in 2002.

Hyphy

「Go Hard or Go Home」と「Gouda」には、フェデレーションのストレスマティックが加わる。

The Federation is the group Rick Rock formed in Fairfield in 2002 with three rappers. Their first single took its title from the Bay Area word Keak da Sneak coined: “Hyphy”. On “Yay Area”, the opening track of E-40’s 2006 album “My Ghetto Report Card”, Rick Rock set squealing high synths over frantic drums that stumble off the beat. Stressmatic of the Federation joins E-40 on “Go Hard or Go Home” and “Gouda”.
